Briar Rose Farm
~ An Appalachian Goat Farm~
Briar Rose Farm is a 160 acre old real live working mountain farm located 30 miles northwest of Asheville, North Carolina, in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains. They nurture goats, cows and many more wonderful animals of the farm. The farm is also the home of Briar Rose Rock, selling landscape boulders and beautiful gray granite rock suitable for retaining walls, Japanese gardens, waterfalls, and special hardscapes.
The rock is sold regionally by the ton.
| "The gardens around our farm have been landscaped with the rock the farm has been "blessed" with. Roses and Lavender are a few favorites that seem to thrive here. That is one of our Belties cows behind the shed. We also invite our guests to share in picking and using our garden produce in season. In addition, a special window box has been planted with many varieties of leaf lettuces for harvest and use in your salads when you stay at our cabin.
We are a working farm. We invite your to meet our Belted Galloway cows, the cashmere goats, gather eggs from our chickens, and enjoy the antics of the guineas. We hope you will share the enthusiasm we feel for Briar Rose Farm and it's creatures." |
